Focus: This study will explore how 21st-century authors, such as Kazuo Ishiguro and Deborah Levy, deal with the issues of collective memory and historical trauma through the connection between personal memory and collective narrative.

5. Feminist Reconfigurations in 21st Century English Literature: Gender, Identity, and Social Justice

Focus: This dissertation will engage with feminist narratives within 21st-century literary contexts, especially in the literary treatments of Bernardine Evaristo and Margaret Atwood, which challenge the notion of rigid definitions of gender and social justice.
