Introduction

Focus: This dissertation will look at how changes at the national level in physical education curriculum policy are enacted at the school level and the impact on student participation and health outcomes.

10. The Contribution of Physical Education to a Lifelong Fitness Culture

Focus: This research will look at how school-based physical education programs change or confirm students’ attitudes towards physical activity, and which approaches create lifetime healthy lifestyle choices.
